Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
These terms are also available in other languages; the English version is the legally authoritative one.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MediaTraining.AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MediaTraining.AI is an AI-powered corporate media training platform that allows users to practice interviews with AI journalists, receive performance reports, and track improvement over time. The Service includes voice and video interview modes, flashcard study tools, and team management features.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Subscription Plans & Billing
The Service offers subscriptions, Pay as You Go and optional add-ons. Subscription prices, included usage, storage, Self-Modeling packs, taxes and currency are shown at checkout. Pay-as-you-go wallet credit does not expire unless the checkout or applicable law states otherwise. Subscription renewals are billed according to the selected interval; cancellation stops future renewal and access continues through the paid period. Companies and agencies are responsible for billing and entitlements for the accounts they administer. Stripe processes payments and applicable tax (including VAT).
5. Free Trial
Each new paying account context — Executive, Company, Agency or Consultant — may receive €15 in introductory credit and any stated introductory Self-Modeling allocation. The introductory offer is limited to one trial per paying account and may be subject to abuse-prevention checks. No credit card is required. After the credit runs out, you must subscribe or top up to continue using paid features.
6. AI-Generated Content
Performance reports, scores, and feedback are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content should not be considered professional advice. Reports are intended as training tools to supplement — not replace — human communication coaching and professional media training.
7. Session Recordings
Voice and video recordings from training sessions are stored securely using our configured storage providers, including Supabase Storage and Cloudflare R2. When Live Meeting is enabled, Recall.ai may process the meeting to provide the feature. Recordings are only accessible to the user who created them, their company administrators (if applicable), and authorized agency administrators. They are used solely for training, replay and report generation, subject to the consents and retention rules in our Privacy Policy.
8. Self-Modeling & Voice Cloning
Self-Modeling is optional and uses a consented voice sample to create practice audio. You must provide explicit consent before a voice sample is processed by ElevenLabs or an audio pack is generated. The generated voice is used only for the selected training feature, is clearly presented as AI-generated practice audio, and can be deleted through the Service. You must not submit another person's voice or use the feature to impersonate anyone without authorization.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the AI models
- Upload malicious, defamatory, or copyrighted content without authorization
- Share your account credentials with third parties
- Use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal usage
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, AI models, designs, and content, is owned by MediaTraining.AI. Content you upload (press releases, talking points) remains your property. You grant us a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing the Service.
11. Limitation of Liability
MediaTraining.AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Customer Responsibility & Our Role
MediaTraining.AI is a self-improvement tool that helps executives and professionals practise and improve their media skills. OF.MediaTech provides the platform as a processor acting on the customer's instructions; we do not employ participants and do not control the relationship between an employer and its people. The decision to use the platform, any requirement placed on an executive or professional to train, and any action taken on the results are the sole responsibility of the customer (the company or agency). We do not compel anyone to participate and are not responsible or liable for how a customer mandates the training, interprets the results, or makes employment or personnel decisions. The customer is responsible for using the platform lawfully and fairly, including obtaining any necessary consents and complying with applicable labour and data-protection law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OF.MediaTech is not liable for any employment, disciplinary or other decisions a customer makes in connection with the platform.
Confidentiality
We treat all content you upload and generate on the platform (press materials, recordings, transcripts, reports) as confidential and use it only to provide the service, as set out in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. Access is restricted and encrypted. A mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is available on request for business customers.
Sub-processors & Limitation of Liability
We rely on reputable third-party sub-processors (hosting, AI, payments, email — listed in our Privacy Policy) that are bound by data-protection and confidentiality terms (Data Processing Agreements and, where applicable, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and Swiss adaptations for UK/Swiss transfers). While we select and oversee them with due care, we are not responsible or liable for acts, omissions or security incidents caused independently by a sub-processor beyond what applicable law requires of us; in such an event we will assist you and pursue our remedies against the sub-processor. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
